Your role

Your responsibilities are:

• The role of this position is to support the process improvement/development in metallurgical process industries.
• Deliver scientific or technical solutions through research and developmental programs. 
• Capable of technical ideation & scoping of new R&D projects. 
• Publications and Presentations.

About you

Qualification and skills

• Master’s degree from a recognized university in the following discipline: Chemical Engineering with good academic & professional records.
• Project work preferably in process optimization through the simulations such as ASPEN/ Data Analytics using Python etc. 
• 0-3 years experience.

Must have

• Should know chemical processes and equipment: Stirred tank, combustion, Cyclones, multiphase reactors, Evaporators, etc
• Should know about ASPEN Plus.  
• Should be willing to work in a team and at the plant site. Good presentation and communication skills.

Good to have

• Experience in process industries/ research & development
• Experience in process scale-up Stirred tanks, gas scrubbing systems, etc.
• Development of processes for high-purity materials/ ceramics etc.
• Could be conversant with one or more modeling tools such as ASPEN plus 
• Any exposure to various programming languages related to Data Analytics (Python).
