Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Assist in operating and maintaining the data center's electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Serve as a technical resource supporting Amazon's data centers.
• Ensure data center equipment maintains better than 99.999% uptime.
• Drive innovation while reducing operational costs.
• Act as a front-line responder for troubleshooting and operations of equipment like generators, UPSs, and cooling systems.

About you

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Pursuing a Certification or Associate's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related technical/trade school program.
• Alternatively, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a similar field.
